Kintetsu “Raku”
Kintetsu’s “Raku” is a 4-car train exclusively for groups, and is based on the 20000 series train that was introduced in 1990. It consists of a two-story front car and a high-decker middle car, allowing for a wide view. As it is exclusively for groups, opportunities for the general public to ride it are limited, but it was renovated in 2020 and features Japanese-themed interiors and seats.

Exterior of Kintetsu “Raku” at Osaka Namba station. Based on the Japanese theme, the body of the train is a metallic reddish-brown that evokes lacquer. Both front cars are two-story, and the middle cars are high-decker.

Both front cars have a “Raku VISTA Spot” where you can enjoy a panoramic view, as well as a free space where you can take off your shoes and relax.
The structure of the carriages and the large windows allow passengers to enjoy a wide range of views from the windows.
Seats: There are five different designs inspired by the train line, featuring traditional Japanese patterns such as checkered patterns. Seats are spaced farther apart, and large natural wood tables have been installed.
