Bullet-In 100

This spring saw the publication of the 100th issue of our magazine, Bullet-In. To celebrate this issue, series 100 trains and trams at various railway companies in Japan are featured, giving information about each series in the magazine. The following three trains are also dealt with in detail in Bullet-In 100.

Ōmi Railway series 100 leaving Hikone for Maibara on 18th January 2016. These cars were originally Seibu class 101, and came to the Ōmi Railway in 2009.


Meitetsu (Nagoya Railroad) series 100 approaching Nisshin on the Toyota Line on 30th June 2016. Introduced in 1979, these cars are operating through services with the Nagoya Subway Tsurumai Line and are thus built to subway standards, which means they are longer than all other Meitetsu cars.


nimo series 100 approaching Irigaike-Koen on 31st July 2018. The Linimo is a linear motor magnetic-levitated train that was opened in 2005..
