Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen
2025 marks the third anniversary of opening of the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen.
The Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen is a 66km Shinkansen route connecting Nagasaki City (Nagasaki Station) and Takeo Onsen Station in Saga Prefecture, which opened on September 23, 2022. To get to Hakata Station (Fukuoka City), a relay system (face-to-face transfer) is used to transfer to a conventional express train at Takeo Onsen Station.
