This time we focus on Shikoku, the smallest of the JR Companies. Apart from JR Shikoku there are a few interesting tram networks. JR Shikoku operates a number of special tourist trains, which often display colourful liveries.
The Marine Liner operates between Honshu and Takamatsu on Shikoku over the Seto Ohashi Bridge. The end cars are special double-deckers.
This 2000 class DMU is a tilting train, built to achieve higher speed on JR-Shikoku’s curveous tracks.
