Osaka Modern Transportation Museum

This museum has now closed, and its collections combined with the new Kyōto Railway Museum

The Osaka Modern Transportation Museum had railway and other exhibits.

Location

The Osaka Modern Transportation Museum was at Bentencho station on the Osaka loop line (JR).

List of Rolling Stock

The following locomotives were on display:
1801 (40), 233, “Yoshitsune”, C62-26, D51-2, EF52-1, DD13-638, DF50-18, DD54-33, units and shinkansen cars.

Other Facilities

In addition there were exhibits, simulators, model railway, maglev, a shop and restaurant. Outside exhibits, pictured, are now undercover.
Also history of planes, ships and cars.
