Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line
The Yokohama subway is overshadowed by its northern neighbour of Tōkyō with its two subway systems. However, the Yokohama subway is vital to Japan’s second-largest city. The system has two lines, the Blue and the Green. The Blue line first opened in 1972, using standard-gauge track with third rail power. The line is currently just over 40km long with 32 stations The Green line opened in 2008 with smaller profile cars, using standard gauge tracks overhead for power, but uses LIMs for propulsion. It is 13 km long with ten stations. Yokohama also has another subway line, MinatoMirai, which is operated by a different company and is not part of the city subway network.

Car 3586 was seen bringing up the rear of a Shōnandai service at Mitsuzawa-kamichō on the 21st March 2018.
Amidst a light dusting of unusually late snow, Car 3506 was seen arriving at Kaminagaya on the 18th March 2018 bound for Azamino.
